Upgrading the firmware via Ocean instance
On the Ocean instance select the “support” bar, and select “Firmware versions”.
Then you click “Add”, and we input a version (normally a FW version), and we can also add a description (system file or app file).
To upload the firmware we click on “Edit”,
then “Choose file”, we find the update file on our computer and click on “Upload all”.
Before hitting the “save” button, we wait so the “Success” message appears in the top right corner:
Next thing we select the Vendor, by clicking on “Edit” selecting Etrel d.o.o.
Next we go to “Charge point models” and select which charging stations will be upgraded.
Once done, hit “Save” in the top right corner.
Then go to “Firmware updates” in the “support” bar (above “Firmware versions”)
Click ““Add”
Input a random “Title” and press on “Charger version”, where we select the “Version name” we have created in the steps above. Pay attention to “Scheduled install time”, as that is when the update will start.
Next, select “Manage chargers points”, where you will see a list of chargers (according to the “Charge point models” you selected). Pick a charger and hit “Save”
Bottom right we will see the status “Waiting to be executed” and in the top right we have an option “Start firmware update”.
To start the update on the scheduled time click on “Start firmware update”.
Status then changes into “Started”. If installation is successful, the status will say “Install finished”
