When the app detects a new available firmware version, it will notify you with a dialog message, such as this one. You can also check for firmware updates manually by starting it from the app’s Device diagnostics page.
1 – Decline this update allows you decline the firmware update, if you do not wish to update your current firmware version. This will snooze the notification for a month.
2 – This is the serial number and location of the device this firmware update applies to.
3 – By tapping Download, you can accept and download the firmware update.
If you are currently not connected to your charging station, the firmware update will be stored in your phone’s local storage. The update will prompt you to install once a connection to the charging station is established.
When the firmware update is successfully installed, the charging station will need to restart.
