Charging station authorization options can be set in the MyINCH web interface. One of the options is authorization with an RFID card.

  1. Connect to the charging station’s MyINCH web-interface.

  2. Click the (blue star) navigation menu in the top left corner.

  3. Select the Configuration tab.

  4. On the User tab, click the drop-down arrow and choose Charging authorization.
Charging authorization options will appear on the right side of the screen.

  5. Under Supported Identification Types, enable RFID by checking the field next to the option Enabled.
(blue star) If needed, enable the other two options:

    • Revert Tag ID bytes is an option used by some central system operators that read tag ID bytes in the reverse order.

    • Stop session directly is used when the user wants to stop the charging session by swiping the RFID card.

  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

(blue star) Because the settings were changed, the charging station now needs to be restarted.

  1. Return to the (blue star) navigation menu and select the Diagnostics tab.

  2. Click Restart device in the right column and confirm the action by clicking Yes.
Wait for the station to carry out the restart.

  3. After the restart, re-connect to the charging station’s MyINCH web interface.

10. Open the (blue star) navigation menu in the top left corner.

11. Select the Configuration tab.

12. On the User tab, click the drop-down arrow and select Local users.
A menu of local users will appear on the right side of the screen.

13. To add a new local user, click Add new.
The My profile pop-up window appears.

14. In the pop-up window, input First name and Last name and click Save.
(blue star) To prevent the chosen user from accessing the charging station, confirm the field next to Blocked.

The User identifications pop-up window will appear.

15. In the pop-up window, click Add and then select Register card now by swiping it.

(blue star) There are also two additional options for adding identification:

  • Get card from past failed authorizations: Select an RFID card from failed authorizations that are stored on the charging station.

  • Add it manually: Manually input the RFID tag ID bytes.

A pop-up window appears, prompting you to swipe the new RFID card.

16. Swipe the desired RFID card on the charging station to hear a beeping sound and click I did it.

17. In the next window, click Select next to the appropriate RFID card ID to view and edit details such as card status, card number, expiration date.
Click Save to confirm and then close the User identifications window.
The newly added user will appear on the right, under Local users.

(blue star) By selecting the card symbol next to the name of the user, you can view and edit all identifications for the chosen user.

You are now able to authorize with the selected RFID card and start charging.
