By removing the charging station’s front cover, the device will enter into installation mode. This mode is designed to provide a quick, single page overview of the charging station’s diagnostics and configuration settings. Its purpose is to make life easier for installation and maintenance personnel. In this mode, charging is disabled to ensure your safety.

Note: The front cover should only be removed by a trained professional.

1 – While in installation mode, you can still access the rest of the app via the main menu.

2 – The removal of the charging station’s front cover is detected, the state declared, and the app changes mode.

3 – The state is also illustrated in the charging station visualisation, where the removed front cover is shown.

4 – If any faults or issues are detected on the device, they will be listed here. Each issue listed will lead you to the corresponding page on the Knowledge Centre, where additional info will be provided.

5 – Tap here to navigate to the Event log, where you can review the charging station’s past events and export the Technical log.

6 – Key charging station information is shown on this list.

7 – Tap here to access the charging station’s diagnostics page, where you can also manage the Firmware settings.

8 – The list of mandatory configuration settings provides quick access to any configuration page that is deemed mandatory to set up and review. This list may be different depending on the charging station supplier. The configuration fields marked as mandatory are annotated with a green attention icon, as seen in the description above the list.

9 – You can access the entirety of configuration settings by tapping here.

10 – To share access to the charging station, tap here to open the Share access dialog.
