INCH DUO - Booting on screen
Tools required
7mm spanner
Large Phillips screwdriver
Small Phillips screwdriver
Spare parts required
Motherboard H-1029-A
Issue description: Inch Duo is in booting stage and the reboot of the station doesn't help.
Sometimes this happens due to voltage fluctuations on the motherboard. The SOM then becomes corrupted and stays in boot loop, so it needs to be replaced.
To prevent the voltage fluctuations we recommend replacing the motherboard (H-1029-A), a guide how to replace the motherboard in INCH Duo can be found here: https://etrelchargingsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TSFP/pages/3924838004.
Replacement process:
Hold the SOM with fingers and carefully lift it (SOM is connected to the motherboard with two multi pin connectors and two PCB spacers – marked in red).
Install PCB spacers on motherboard and align new SOM with PCB spacers and multi pin connectors on motherboard.
Firmly press on SOM to secure the connection with motherboard (audible click).
