My INCH Reporting

In the “Reporting” menu, we have options to view the sessions, authorizations and events that occurred on the charger. This is your go-to menu for troubleshooting purposes.

In order to view the sessions, authorizations and events, we first select the dates in “Charging from” and “Charging to” and then click on “Apply filters” in the top right. Remember to always keep the time on the chargers synchronized, if not, the events may not be logged on the day you presume.

In the sub-menu “Sessions”, charging sessions that were started on the charger, will be listed with information, such as, when did the session start, how the user identified, how much energy was used in the session and what is the current status of the session. If we expand a selected session, we can also view additional information, such as,  when did the session finish, its duration, what RFID or PIN code was used for authorizing, what was the maximum power used and why was the session stopped.

The ”Authorizations” sub-menu is dedicated only to authorizations. Here we can view, when did the authorization occur, what was the type of identification used and where did the charger confirm the authorization is valid.

In the “Events” sub-menu you will see all the events that occurred on the charger. For example, what is the status of the connector, if it is available, preparing or charging, if the charger was rebooted, if a firmware upgrade was made or if it failed, if the cable was plugged into the socket or the car, if the contactor turned on or off, if the charger has gone into a “fault” state and why it is in a faulty state and so on. You can view all the events possible, if you head over to “More options” and check the list under “Event type”.

All the sub-menus mentioned, have additional filters available, if we click on “More options” in the top right. Events can be filtered by category, priority and event type. Authorizations are filtered by identification source, identification type, and authorization status. We can also input an identification code or simply select a user, by which we would like to filter. And the sessions can again be filtered by identification source and identification type, and also by a stop reason and identification code or we simply select the user. After we have selected our filters, click on “Apply filters” or “Clear filter” in top right.

We are also able to download an Excel file, with all the events, authorizations and sessions that are listed on the selected dates. To do that, click on “Export to CSV”.

Warning! Before installing, wiring, handling or accessing the charging station in any way, make sure to read, understand and follow the Safety Guidelines.
