A Bluetooth device can be added by:

  • choosing a Bluetooth device from the list of devices available for connection that were detected by the charging station,

  • manually entering the unique app ID of the Bluetooth device.

A Bluetooth device is a mobile phone with the INCH Core app installed, Bluetooth connection enabled, and set to act as a charging authorisation key in the app’s settings.

A Bluetooth device can be added by in two ways:

  • choosing a device from the list of devices available for connection that were detected by the charging station,

  • entering the unique app ID of the Bluetooth device10-8_Connection-lost-authentication.pngImage Added

    (add?) 0 – With Bluetooth authentication enabled, the charging station can detect Bluetooth devices that are available for connection.

    1 – Type in the unique app ID of the Bluetooth device.


    If the Bluetooth device

    (mobile phone)

    you are managing this charging access from is not yet listed as a whitelisted Bluetooth device, you will be asked to confirm that this is the device you are trying to add to the list.

    1 – You can Tap to add the device to the Bluetooth devices whitelist by tapping this button.
    2 – If you are trying Tap to add a different Bluetooth device, tap this button.

    A 1 Once a Bluetooth device card is detected and confirmed, you can give it a name so it is easier for you to recognise it in the list. Enter the desired name or label for this device here.
    B – Once you have entered the name, tap Enter a name for the detected and confirmed Bluetooth device.
    2 – Tap Confirm to save the device and add it to the whitelist.

    If you decide to remove a Bluetooth device from the whitelist, you will be presented with this dialog modal.

    A – The device you are removing will be shown here, so you are sure which device you are removing.
    B – To remove the device shown, tap RemoveDialog, Change password_2.pngImage Added

    1 – Name of the Bluetooth device selected for removal.

    2 – Tap Remove to remove the selected device.
